About Us

The Greater Bobs Lake Landowners Association was founded in 1979 to represent the interests of landowners, stakeholders and the lake environment. The Association was enlarged to include Crow Lake in the late 1990s forming The Greater Bobs and Crow Lakes Association (GB&CLA). The GB&CLA is incorporated in Ontario as a non-profit organization and is operated entirely by volunteers, governed by an elected Executive and Board of Directors. Key areas of endeavour are: Water quality; Fisheries; Boating Safety; Cottage Safety; Government Relations (Provincial, Municipal, and Regulatory); Shorelines & Natural Environment; Coordination with other Associations, and Membership and Community interaction.

Under the auspices of the GB&CLA, The Bobs & Crow Lakes Foundation was founded in 2005. The Foundation is a registered charity that works in harmony with the Association for the area of the lakes.
